Thanks to the New River Bicycle Union for putting on the 6 Hours of Arrowhead last Sunday, May 13. The 10.5 mile course was on the Arrowhead Trails in the New River Gorge National River, 13 miles of singletrack designed by the International Mountain Bike Association and completed in 2011.
Results will be posted to the New River Bicycle Union’s Facebook page soon. Check there also for weekly group rides for all levels.
The youth of the area represented well.
Riders report the course was very well marked, and lots of volunteers came out to put on a great event. Here’s to Year One of a great tradition.
